You don't eat well, a wannabe place. To start, we had a reservation for four on the terrace and they gave us one of those tables that only fit couples, because nothing else would fit. Cramped to the point that the waiter had to move other customers to get to our table. The menu is a price abuse, because it's about looting the tourist and making a killing, since it looks like it's not very busy in winter. We ordered three dishes: Russian salad (canned products and too much mayonnaise), tiger mussels (good), and croquettes (mediocre). The croquettes are a joke, which is why I'm posting the photo; 12 euros for a dish like that is a rip-off. Not to mention the meat or fish dishes, which don't go below 23 euros and are tiny. They fill the glass of red wine so, so sparingly that you have to notice the stinginess; they try to look like a Michelin-starred establishment and don't even reach the level of a cheap tavern. It gives the impression that they are laughing at the tourist. Puebla de Sanabria is so beautiful, and these places of supposed haute cuisine make it look bad, and they don't even come close to a roadside bar. I do not recommend it.

Perfect location, very friendly and attentive staff, clean and comfortable room, although it gets quite hot during the day. The restaurant is fantastic, Ruth is charming, and the service is very good. I recommend it.

We stopped at this posada to enjoy a pleasant coffee at one of their outdoor tables. The coffees were excellent, as was the service and this is a village we would certainly like to spend more time in.
