Valbusenda Hotel Resort & Spa

VERY DISAPPOINTING experience. They gifted us an experience valued at 600€ that included one night at a hotel, wine tasting at the winery, and a tasting menu with pairing (for 2 people). Due to serious personal reasons, we could not enjoy it within the 6 months of validity, and just 3 weeks after the expiration date, I contacted the hotel to ask them, please, for some solution or flexibility. From the very first moment, everything was just delays. They never responded clearly; every time I called, they told me they would "look into it," and I had to call more than 10 times to finally get a definitive answer. The service was terrible during all my calls, and to make matters worse, in my last call, a young lady who said she was the Reception manager spoke to me very rudely just to tell me that it was "not possible" because it had expired. And she did not want to transfer me to any higher authority at the hotel. Honestly, I find it incredible that an establishment of this level and with the prices it charges cannot show a minimum of empathy or consideration for a customer. I was not asking for a refund, money, or special treatment: just to be able to enjoy a paid experience by completely adapting to the available dates. It feels like the only thing that matters here is keeping the money and not customer satisfaction. Very little sensitivity and zero customer orientation. Of course, after this experience, I would not recommend it at all. I hope that someone with decision-making authority at the hotel will finally have the dignity to contact me and resolve this issue. I am sure that the owners of the hotel do not agree at all with this behavior of their employees.

Very good location and service but the patches on the sofas, the insects in the room, the small TV and the dire food of the room service makes Valbusenda a place that no longer reaches 5 stars. In addition to this, 20 minutes waiting for breakfast coffee, on arrival 10 waiting for table, we are offered the menu and the number of gresites missing in the pools of the spa. That does large room with immense beds and comfortable mattresses and pillows. It has not been a bad stay but not for an accommodation that advertises this category, they need renovation and update.

You can not say that it is not comfortable, that the building does not fit with the surroundings.For the spa I would give appointment, we went down on Saturday and we were too many people. If the windows of the room had been clean and not full of bird droppings we could have enjoyed the scenery. For a 5 star you wait longer.According to other opinions the cellar seems like an excuse to put a hotel
