Paradise Road Tintagel Colombo

Wonderful hotel with a lot of history. Very colonnial so one dhould expect the suites to look like they need renovating which is a criticism I have seen in other reviews. It does not! The room was large, airy and had good lighting. Cleanliness all round the hotel was excellent. The outside courtyard is a very pleasant area to sit in whether it is just to relax, have a drink or dine. The food was excellent. The staff, without exception, were very attentive and made time in their day to speak to their guests. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Wow!! This is our first time to Sri Lanka and we began our trip here at the Tintagel. We loved this hotel so much and cannot recommend it enough!!!! The staff were absolutely fantastic, so kind and friendly, always ready to lend a hand and make suggestions. They made our stay wonderful. The food was also incredible, we had lunch and breakfast here and both were 10/10. Beautiful pool and bar. Great place we will be back!!

Elegant and beautifully appointed building in the centre of the City. We only had one night here before flying home but this was possibly the most luxurious hotel we stayed in on our trip. As we were experiencing a cyclone we weren't able to eat outside on the veranda but the bar/rstaurant were very nice. Our suite was beautifully furnished and comfortable. The indoor pool was great with a Greco-Roman feel. A really great hotel and worth a visit. Unfortunately we didn't get to sleep in the bedroom used by the King and Queen but I can see why the Hotel was chosen for the Royal visit,
