The hotel's only upside was the ocean view. The Sea View room itself is very small (approximately 20 m2). Who assigned the hotel 3* if the room does not: gel, water, there are places dangerous to life. The room was declared as a Deluxe room. But okay, no problem. Interestingly, the hostess immediately stated “if you take a reservation on Booking - then I will give you a Deluxe room sea view. It's not on the booking at all. We paid for the hotel from November 1 to 15. 14 nights . On the day of arrival (arrived at 3 a.m.) construction and noise started from 7 a.m. The room was cleaned in 10 days once. The cleaning lady endlessly swears money. One dollar is not enough for her. Shows there's two of them and more to be given. What if there are 5 cleaners? A dollar each?) When a puddle of rain flowed into our room with the door closed the day before, the cleaner came up four times and said “look, I wiped the puddle.” From November 8 to November 9, inclusive, we were on a field trip. I asked you to clean our room. Weary ones are back. The room is not cleaned. Trash from the baskets has not been removed. I was dying to sleep. Construction/renovation started at 21:30. The hotel provides rooms on the second floor (there is a restaurant on the ground floor). The restaurant was renovated. The banging of hammers continued after 11 p.m. Repeated requests were ignored. Most importantly, the hotel owner locked the door where the only exit is. Should we jump from the second floor in case of an accident? Why did you close it? Says I thought you weren't going anywhere. Are we animals that should be locked in a cage at night? In the photo, I circled a place where you could fall from the second floor. ◦ When we informed the hotel owner the next morning that we would not stay any longer - she declared that all Buddhist gods would now curse us. I think people of deep faith would have something to talk to her about)

We had prebooked a family room. We came late evening and staff was friendly and helpful. We didn’t even have to show the booking or payment confirmation. The room is nice and simple with two big double beds. There is a kitchen with refrigerator in another room which is also included. The toilet is okay, but a visit from the plumber to fix a loose tap would be nice😄 There is a big private balcony with view to the street. You can also see squirrels climbing around at the balcony. At the other side of the hotel there is a public balcony with a beautiful views over the beach and sea❤️. This is a nice spot to enjoy sunset🌞 We had breakfast included which is served at the beach restaurant. Again view is amazing, but the breakfast could be better. Staff is smiling and friendly. The biggest downside is the fact that electricity is very unstable and switch off too often (several times a day), but that is a general problem in Sri Lanka.

We just wend there for lunch there. The rotti was very delicious. Service was nice and friendly. And the prices are very fair, not as in the other tourisic places nearby. Will come back again for some of those rotties.
