Hillcot Bungalow

A great hotel to stay with children. We came to this hotel on a whim while traveling with our little daughter. The staff welcomed us very well and showed us all the rooms available. We chose the first floor double room. It was clean, spacious, with comfortable beds and all the necessary furnishings. The hot water was good. It was also very convenient for us to have a kettle in the room to boil water. The common balcony on the top floor has a beautiful view of Gregory Lake. My daughter loved the large garden with ornamental flowers and it was a great garden for children to play in. There was a covered parking lot with plenty of space for parking. The most important thing was the good staff. They were always ready to help and overall I recommend it as a very good hotel.

I had a birthday function in the hotel. The behaviour and attitude of the staff was very cheap, especially the manager. Our food ordered from the hotel as buffet were stolen by the stuff while the party was ongoing, as well the liquor bottle was stolen by the staff. When I inform the manager, he was behaving like a thug saying he is person from the area and he is not afraid of anyone and things like that Had a such a cheap treatment from the staff especially the manager.

We loved the homely atmosphere of the Bungalow, the extremely friendly and helpful staff!!! The meals were home cooked and served. We certainly will go there again. Great place for recreation and relaxation away from the hustle and the bustle of City life.
