Best Western Norra Vattern

Felt like a rundown hotel. Small simple rooms with wretched bad beds. No ac. Very warm in the room. Breakfast was served in a type school canteen with type simple tables and chairs in a row. Nothing cozy at all. The mini bar was in a cooler. Dark and gloomy reception. The staff was very friendly.

The location is excellent, close to the small town center and the growth. The atmosphere is conspicuous by its absence, a bright and fresh restaurant area notwithstanding. A dark and walled reception/bar/lobby is possibly snug. The breakfast room of the type of school canteen has a lake view and windows in two directions, but gives a bare and uninspired impression. The bed was of good quality, but the room felt trapped. A table fan was produced and the window was easy to open. The cleaning was ok, except for one that I think an accident at work where the room's armchair was untidy under the plume. The bathroom was spotlessly clean. The service was friendly, the food in the á la cartemat hall very good and affordable. The relaxation facilities we did not try, nor the car track which although marketed externally, completely lacked any hint of the hotel during our stay. The moon is for hordes of conference guests who seem to be the target group (see above for the breakfast room). Overall affordable, perhaps with a little hesitation.

Super nice and well maintained small hotel with fantastic location next to the river on the north bank of Lake Vättern. Absolutely OK standard of rooms and wonderfully relaxing spa area with massage bath, outdoor spa, sauna and cozy relax. Efficient cleaning. Very friendly and helpful staff. Varied buffet breakfast with beautiful water views from the dining room as an added bonus regardless of the season. You get a lot for your money. The restaurant can also be recommended.
