Apartment Old Town

The apartment is a perfect choice for people who are not so fond of impersonal hotels (like ourselves) who are looking for a place with character in a central location. It is an optimal size to accommodate a family of 3 people. The buliding is situated right in the middle of Gamla Stan - the Old Town but at the same time is close to a metro station which hosts a grocery store (2-minutes walk away). All the major historical sites (the Royal Palace etc.), the main shopping area and the pier from which the ferries depart are within a walking distance (10-minutes max.). The apartment itself is simply perfect - it is located on the 3rd floor of a building which was built in 1730 and it has preserved the historical feel! It is light and airy, with one bedroom (with a huge twin bedroom, a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom and quite a spacious hall). The decor and the facilities are quite modern (Ikea style) and very pleasant. The apartment is very clean and equipped with everything you need. The bathroom is on a small side with a shower, but it is dfinitely big enough. There is literally everything you need in the kitchen including all types of utensiles, spices, salt and sugar etc.. We loved the apartment and it made our stay worthwhile.
