First Hotel Reisen

I was really looking forward to staying at this hotel, but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. Our first impression on arrival was poor. There are around five steps leading to the reception, and there was no assistance with our large suitcases, so we had to struggle to carry them up ourselves. The biggest issue was that the rooms have no air conditioning. As a result, the room was unbearably hot, making it very difficult to get a good night's sleep and ultimately spoiling our holiday. To make matters worse, the lane alongside the hotel is used for deliveries, and we were woken every morning at 6.00 am by a loud banging noise. After the first night, we asked if it was possible to move to a quieter room, but were told the hotel was fully booked. However, when I checked online, there appeared to be rooms available, which was frustrating. The bathroom was also the smallest I have ever experienced. There was barely enough room for the toilet, making it extremely cramped and uncomfortable to use. Because the room was so hot, we drank the bottled water from the minibar, assuming it was complimentary. It was only when we checked out that we discovered we had been charged for it. This hotel is advertised as a five-star property, but in my opinion it falls well short of that standard. Overall, our stay was extremely disappointing, and sadly I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially since the hotel rates are not cheap!

Loved the location. The team were friendly and helpful and most importantly, they seemed happy in their work. Our room was super comfy too. The basement has a sauna and plunge pool. Great after a day of walking.

I really enjoyed my time. Everything was exactly as it should be, and i think i'll pick same hotel for the next time. Worth that money.
