Radisson Blu Royal Viking Stockholm

We chose to upgrade to a Premium room for our stay. We stayed 3 nights. We arrived late at night 11pm. The room was lovely (small but lovely). The toilet however was stinking of a sewer. At 1 am, I called the desk and told them our bathroom was stinking. They sent someone up, but after 30 mins no one arrived. At 1.30am I went down to the desk, and was assured someone was on their way. At 2am no sign. I phoned the desk again and told the guy that no one had come, that I was going to sleep and to set up for us to move the next day. I went to the desk at 10am the next day and nothing had been setup to move. I had to go through it all again. I was asked to checkout and they would get another room sorted out. I came back at 5pm, and a new room was ready. Not ONCE did anyone apologise, in any way. This by teh way is not the first time this problem happened based on historic reviews. I checked out online. I just received the bill. The biggest insult of the lot was that I was charged for the upgrade each night, even the night I was up waiting to 2 am to get help that did not turn up. I challenge you to try to contact staff at the hotel ot a manager. Also, the smell is the same smell you will get when you exit the side door towards the 7-11 shop, only it is concentrated in the room at night.

Great hotel fabulous position for public transport or to walk around shopping or site seeing would definitely recommend 👍

Hey! The guards at the hotel were aggressive and unpleasant. Going home, they couldn't find my name on their list even though those at the front desk could find them right away. Terribly hope no one else has to experience this.
