Best Western Arjang Hotel

This is a hotel that is not near approximately up to the standard for a nice accommodation. The recommendation is: Steer away. The restaurant is not open on Sundays in the middle of the summer season in a small town attracted by the nearest wine monopoly at the border with Norway. The restaurant floor had a carpet featuring guests who spilled all kinds of food. The carpet should be replaced with wooden or tiled floors. For breakfast, the egghouse was almost liquid. Two varieties of ham were about to go out on date, they were sour. Various jam in glasses were almost empty with pork spoons. There was no orange juice or fat-free milk. The receptionist did not know where electric cars could be charged. Our room was tired and the chairs were simply dirty. TV had only Swedish channels. The bathroom was ice cold and the toilet was running continuously until we understood the ***** with stopping the water crane. This will unfortunately be our last stay in Årjeng - we can drive to Karlstad or stay on the Norwegian side of the border.

The hotel more than meets the expectations of a hotel outside metropolitan areas. Attentive and service-oriented staff at the front desk.

Good breakfast and good food at the restaurant. Cleanliness was very good, a bit worn room. One plus was that there were Norwegian channels on the TV. Free parking is also a big plus.
