Scandic Karlstad City

Nice staff, good breakfast, great location and price! However, not so well cleaned. Hair and makeup stains on the bedding and also hair and fingerprints on the mirror in the bathroom. The hallways and rooms felt more like a motel than hotel. Very good service otherwise though.

Good and centrally located hotel.

I think the breakfast at the hotel is the absolute best at all Scandic we stayed at, traveling through Sweden every summer from Skåne to Jämtland. Breakfast offers new varieties of flavors, ingenious samples and there is a lot in supply! The bread is warm and incredibly good. Nice staff and they are careful to keep it clean and tidy on the table and in the buffet!
