Best Western Malmia Hotel

Great location in the city center,good breakfast

The hotel is very dated but there is nothing functionally wrong with the rooms. I’ve stayed at the Wood Hotel during previous work trips and have visited the Scandic as well. Both offer elevated hotel experiences. If you need a basic room for a work stay or personal visit this hotel works. I will be staying again.

Malmia is a difficult to assess hotel, very well located at the square in Skellefteå. The room was worn out, poorly heated and with an interior that resembled Eastern European 70s. The beds small and uncomfortable and no cleaning was carried out during day two. Even the bathroom was quite run down. However, the reception staff was efficient and accommodating and the breakfast very good and tasty. Considering the low price, I would nevertheless like to give Malmia with hesitation approved.
