Old and well worn hotel. Cracks in the ceiling at reception. Our room was large and had high ceilings, but it was probably 35 degrees and no AC, just a floor fan. The bathroom smelled like mold. Overall not a pleasant experience. Big plus for very friendly and service minded staff, specifically receptionist Ebba. The hotel has a good location and if you want to get away cheap and not so fussy, it works ok.

Sunky room (we chose the most expensive they had) peeling paint on the ceiling, mold smell in the bathroom, no AC, no refrigerator in the room. Never again.

The hotel may be historic but it is so worn out that it is difficult to absorb the environment that could be really grand. Large bright rooms and stairs in mazes, all that characterizes an old hotel. Lovely breakfast room and great staff. Unfortunately, the price is too high in relation to the quality of the room.
