Comfort Hotel Goteborg

Great hotel. We didn't try the restaurant. We just slept overnight.

Not impressed at all, but did not know that it counts as a budget hotel, before I read the other reviews. We were assigned to a hotel via a pleasure ticket. Small room with a dreary view of the courtyard. Very simple decor, only one pillow each, no extra pillows or duvets, no minibar with water, no wardrobe. Only one bed and one chair. Cramped bathroom where you could barely fit 2 people. The rooftop bar was filled with screaming teenagers. Breakfast quite OK for a budget hotel, but nothing extra. I don't think we're coming back here.

Fresh rooms with superior rooms, but on the 6th floor you can hear the noise from the rooftop bar until midnight (very minus). We booked early check-in for 200 but when the pensioners next to us were offered free early check-in I soured for a while. The rooftop bar has gotten a bit “sloppy” but the view is still outstanding. The breakfast was ok but the coffee and juice was a bit too diluted. Sometimes I think stinginess betrays wisdom. But the location is great. Maybe the best thing about the hotel.
