Hotel Riverton

A very clean and fresh hotel room and a bright and luxurious bathroom. Very friendly staff and a great breakfast. The location was perfect. Unfortunately, the view in our room was towards a dreary nearby building. In order to avoid transparency, you had to close the curtains and then it became dark and boring in the room.

Sat in the sky bar at Riverton and asked the staff if they could roll up the curtains. We wanted to see the view of Gothenburg. Got to answer that it gets too hot then. So we had to sit with curtains rolled down. Bad!

I will give it 4 stars because it is a great 4-star hotel. Lovely staff and nicely renovated. However don’t upgrade your room or look forward to a great view. Prize vs value is out of proportion. I don’t agree with the praising of the breakfast, but a lovely breakfast restaurant with a calm atmosphere even when crowded.
