Scandic Crown Gothenburg

Very nice stay at Scandic Crown during the Göteborgsvarvet weekend. The hotel is clean, the rooms are nice and the location near the center is perfect. The breakfast had a great variety even though there were very many guests at the hotel. The room cleaning could have been slightly better, but what really made our stay great was the outstanding service from the maître d'/restaurant manager. He was incredibly helpful and solved everything we needed – from arranging ice to fixing dinner tables for eight people. He always took the time to ask how we were doing and if there was anything he could help with. Thanks to his dedication we felt really welcome and at home throughout the stay. Such service is unusual today and made a big impression on us. Also she who worked breakfast blonde hair and Norwegian background she was and super service mind. We will definitely choose Scandic Crown again next time we visit Gothenburg

Very friendly staff. Good beds. Good breakfast. BUT there was a high semi-disgusting and slippery bathtub to step into to be able to shower. It was very uncomfortable. Remove the bathtub and put in a shower enclosure, please. There were a lot of lights in the room. BUT they were placed in strange places and did not fulfill their function. I could not adjust/angle/twist the lights so that they lit where I wanted bright. A table lamp in the hallway had the plug in the wall but lacked a “light bulb” = deadly. I don't want spotlights on the ceiling above the bed.

It was really messy, kids running down the hall screaming... they were rude and big mouthed.
