Hecht

We loved Appenzell and Hotel Hecht! The rooms were beautiful, breakfast was included and a very nice variety of breads, meat, cheese, yogurt, fruits, coffee, juice, jams, eggs….Staff were very accommodating and pleasant! Excellent location. Easy walk to train station and atm next door. Great spot to stay and hike to Aescher and Seealpsee lake! Highly recommend staying here!

Very clean place we were received very friendly. Great room just below the church tower. Earplugs recommended for people with light sleep. Great and rich breakfast for those who like to take their time!

Older hotel with very modern bathroom. Byzantine hallways are confusing. Staff was nice. Room comfortable and clean, rather dated. View from room was of another old building, not attractive. Breakfast was ok. Location good in cute town.
