Neuhaus Golf- & Strandhotel

Many thanks to Sandro and the entire hotel team for the friendly hospitality and assistance with the S&P wedding. Beautiful celebration including an outdoor wedding ceremony with all the trimmings. The weather was very uncertain, however everyone gave their all to make the most beautiful day possible for the wedding couple. Rooms were clean with all the trimmings. However, it is very dated but okay. We will gladly continue to visit the restaurant in the future. Also great as a day trip for strolling, swimming, enjoying, and just being.

You can either stay in the hotel and restaurant building or in the rooms across. We can't comment on the bedrooms in restaurant building as we stayed in the rooms in separate building. We were really pleased to find our room is like a little apartment. Your room key takes you into a hallway with coat hooks and place for shoes. There is a door off to the right into a very spacious bathroom with a bath and shower over it. Nice and light, though no outside window. (3x bigger and much nicer than the raddison hotel we just stayed in). The door straight ahead from hall took you into a twin room and the door on the left leads into a big room with link double bed at one end and a settee and coffee table at the other end, looking out over the gardens, you can see the lake to the right, just. We ate in the hotel restaurant on our first night. Food was excellent and a good choice, staff very friendly and chatted fluently with guests in at least 3 different languages. Special shout out to Benson who was very attentive and looked after us very well. Breakfast is buffet style and plentiful. The bar/restaurant is open during the day too and you can sit in our out, both overlook the sea. You can walk into interlaken, 3 miles or 5 if you go along the river, or you can catch the 21 bus from right outside the hotel which costs 4 Swiss Franks and takes you to both train stations and centre of interlaken. Beautiful scenery, snow covered mountain tops, water sports... Love the hotel, sad we only have one night left
