All was well. Clean. Adequate space. Lots of hot water and a rain shower. Wish it had some drawers so we could unpack and feel more at home.

Hotel Stella was a lovely start to our trip. It was the first hotel we stayed in during out three-city trip to Switzerland. It's a small hotel, but don't let that fool you — the rooms were comfortable and thoughtfully equipped, right down to the drying racks for clothes, which was such a practical touch. Raiyan at the front desk was welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, always ready with recommendations or assistance whenever we needed it. The staff overall went out of their way to make us feel looked after, including catering gluten-free options at breakfast, which we really appreciated. The location is fantastic — within walking distance of Interlaken West station, yet tucked away in a peaceful part of town. It felt like the best of both worlds: quiet and relaxing, but still within easy reach of all the activity in Interlaken. The balconies facing the mountains were the perfect spot to unwind and take in the views. A small but memorable touch: the hotel offers free umbrellas for guests to use, which came in handy more than once! Overall, a comfortable, well-run hotel with a great location and genuinely helpful staff. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Interlaken.

Good hotel, modern, colourful and clean. Young man on reception very polite and helpful. Loved the outside of the room doors, the whole of the doors were photos of various Swiss scenes. Room 23 had a balcony with a pleasant mountain and street view, and overlooks the lovely front garden. Ideally located for a short walk to plenty of shops, restaurants and the train station. Impressed with the immaculately clean and modern bathroom. It had a powerful shower, excellent non slip floor, towel heater rail, vanity kit, magnifying mirror, lotion and conditioner as well as the usual. Soft bath robes for walking to and from the swimming pool were placed in plastic baskets. These baskets were very useful for carrying your towel and any personal items for using in the unisex changing room. There was a separate ladies changing room with a door within the main changing room. Most of the lockers didn’t have keys. Large indoor pool with exercise machines, weights and resistance bands on the pool. Excellent coffee and tea machine in very pleasant breakfast room overlooking well manicured gardens. Amused by the faces drawn on boiled eggs. Loved the little home made cakes. Good choice of fruit juices and continental breakfast food. You could fry your own eggs at breakfast. Access to the coffee/tea machine during day time was appreciated as coffee was not provided in the room, only tea. Asked for coffee satchets for the room at reception. Milk cartons had amusing cow faces. Enjoyed reading the Interlaken brochure in the room.
