Hotel Edelweiss

We stayed at this wonderful hotel in Wengen for two nights in May with another couple. From the moment we entered the lobby, we were greeted with warm smiles and made to feel genuinely welcome. After a long journey from the United States involving several train changes, their warmth and kindness meant more than words can express. Every member of the hotel team was gracious, attentive, and full of personality. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and every meal was delicious. We also had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with the chef, whose wonderful stories made our dining experiences even more memorable. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with a beautiful view from the balcony. Our only regret was that our packed itinerary allowed us to stay for just two nights. The hospitality shown to us on the day of our departure was truly exceptional. We had eight large pieces of luggage, and the owner personally brought everything to the train station, met our arriving train, and helped load it all aboard so we could continue to our next destination without getting off in Wengen. We were deeply grateful and incredibly impressed by this thoughtful act. Everyone at the hotel helped transform our short visit into a treasured memory. We are already planning to return next year! Thank you so very much for everything you did for us. We truly love your hotel!

Superb location with beautiful views. Louise, Daniel and the whole team made a huge effort and looked after us so well. We will definitely come and stay again. Thank-you

We loved this sweet, cozy hotel! Breakfasts in the morning had great variety. The view from our room was awesome, and the location was just a few minutes to the train station. The grounds were perfectly kept, and the room was very clean as well! And they have an elevator for convenience with luggage. Thomas and Sarah were especially kind and helpful and truly wanted us to have the best vacation. Dinner in the restaurant was great, also! If we return to Switzerland, we would definitely spend time here again! Wengen was a great location!
