Bernina Geneva

This really has to be one of the best hotels we have stayed in for such a great price and so well located to everything you need and tourist attractions! Friendly staff, comfortable beds, all you need really for a stay in Genève. The free travel cards for busses etc is just that little extra that makes Switzerland in general such a great country to visit even though prices can be high otherwise. Can recommend this hotel with a 10/10:-)

Room claims to have state of the art air conditioning. This hotel does not have this at all. We were on the 7th floor and had booked nights based on them telling us they had air. It was at least 78-80 degrees in the room with no air movement at all. Requested a fan bc it was so hot. Claims that rooms are sound proof.l and they are not since we clearly heard cars on the backside of our room revving engines all night. We had reservations that could be cancelled after the first night and we did however they would not do so. These people are scammers and are liars as there is no movement to air at all. We ended up at the crowne where we enjoyed a nice cool room. Absurd. Do not stay here. Let this be your warning. Also some staff were quite rude and nasty when speaking to use and raised their voices at us. Totally unprofessional. Rooms are small. Worker stated that we needed to keep the lights on using our key card to ensure that our air was working. It didn’t work with or without the key card but who leaves all the lights on to try to sleep.

This hotel claims to have good air conditioner. It never moved off what was on the thermostat. It was as at least 76 degrees so we asked for a fan. We were on the 7th floor so everyone knows heats rises. Cars on the backside do the hotel were racing engines and could be heard clearly on the 7th floor. Despite hotel Insurnace and per my reverberations being able to cancel per my booking documents they continue to scam people saying there is nothing wrong with their air. I am now st a crowne hotel in Geneva and it has air. These booking companies need to know they are scamming people and not giving them their money back after having an agreement that clearly stated it would’ve refunded once the supervisor arrived. Steer clear is this old place as the lights all turn on when you enter the hallways. It’s very tiny and not appropriate for large luggage. Scammers scammers scammers.
