Soldanella

A nice hotel. Old building charm with modern'sh rooms. Dining room has old charm - like Frank Sinatra will turn up to sing. Charming old lift. Restaurant food was good. Unfortunately breakfast was not very comprehensive. Only cold cut meats. Boil your own egg station. Good range of cereal etc but not a lot of hot food such as bacon, eggs, etc. Overall ok though. Room had a beautiful view view of the lake. If arrangement ahead of time, you can book a pickup from the train station. CHS16 per room per trip. Quite steep for a 5min drive but then most things in Switzerland are expensive.

Stylishly furnished hotel with special charm and very good service at breakfast and dinner. Very tidy, very nice staff. Extensive breakfast buffet.

The hotel and staff are charming. The hotel has Excellent food and in a good position to explore St Moritz. We had some car problems whilst we were staying with them and all the staff were extremely helpful. There is a bar with great views which is very socialable. We would highly recommend a stay at the Soldanella.
