De la Paix Lucerne

The hotel is simpler but cost like a nicer hotel. Probably due to some kind of festival in town when we were there. Relatively newly renovated bathroom but the floor was spongy so seems to be a little bad underwork or moisture damage. Incredibly warm in the room which had a fan but no AC. Traffic on a Saturday night is as usual with motorized youth who throttle a little extra, which is evident when you sleep with open balcony doors to get some air circulation in the room. The breakfast had what you need even if it was not sumptuous.

It is a good hotel. The room was okay. The bathroom does not have proper separation. The breakfast needs to be improved a lot. I shall surely book this hotel if i ever visit Lucerne again because of its location but without breakfast. Increase your price a little bit if required but at least give a proper breakfast. Appreciate the fact that on Level 2, you have free drinks such as coffee plus microwave facility. Plus you can buy your food and dine there as well.

We stayed one night in this hotel located not far from the lion statue, in Lucerne. Single room, small, a few shelves, decent bed but very soft pillow. Basic but clean bathroom. A reasonably priced hotel for the city, but it remains very expensive in terms of value for money. The internal soundproofing needs to be reviewed. Only one tiny elevator for the whole hotel, so there can be a long wait depending on the time of day.
