Hotel overbooked after a 12 hour journey to arrive at the hotel and to be told (no apology) that we have over booked and moved your booking to an ibis hotel 20 minutes away Apparently they emailed us that afternoon at 3.15 pm )who can drive and check emails !!!) We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years travelling to Italy and also a IHG member Poor management at the hotel and the reservation department I know airlines were bad at this practice of over booking but apparently IHG are to . With today’s technology there is no excuse for these practices still to be in operation
