A beautiful hotel, but I had a troublesome experience. I booked an upgraded room using Tripadvisor,: but when I checked in, they expressed surprised that was only so solo. So they said we’ll just switch you to another room and give you a breakfast voucher for the difference but the breakfast voucher wasn’t worth the difference. So I think I got “short sheeted” in the end. In fact, after seeing my less spacious room, I should’ve gone downstairs and just complained. But I was a bit tired and declined doing that. I think the hotel would would have been better off if they had not “pushed me“ into taking a smaller room. Rather, they should have said you’re in a larger room is that ok with you.
