An insider tip! Nice boutique hotel run by a couple in the middle of the old town of Ascona, close to the lake. We had an extraordinarily spacious room with balcony over the alley, old charm (creaking wooden floor), but modern furnishings. Very friendly contacts with owner couple (speaking German). Good breakfast, egg dishes available (fresh, no food waste). Price cheap. Anytime again!

Nice hotel in Via Borgo. Marino warmly welcomed us, although we were a bit late and even gave us a room upgrade. The antique post office is super central, the dinner smelled delicious and the breakfast was top. Delicious cold cuts and there are also egg dishes or salmon. I was particularly pleased about the gluten-free rolls from Panetteria Naretto. Thank you very much, we would love to come back.
