The hotel is high up on Monte Verita; the view is really beautiful. Also the quiet location is great. Also the tea garden is worth seeing. On arrival we were unfortunately not informed or instructed where the breakfast room was. It wasn't a nice reception. The information flowed more than poorly. The thin info folio in the room is not complete. We were able to take our dog with us; that was positive before. However, we received nothing for the dog package; no water bowl in the room, no dog bed, no welcome gutzi. Then on Saturday, a wedding party arrived. Actually nothing negative; just that we didn't find a parking space when we got back from dinner. Surely hotel guests should find at least one reserved parking space? On Sunday, in fine weather, the table was set for breakfast inside. Without asking if this would be okay with us... Generally unfriendly staff. Rooms without balcony with original Bauhaus furniture and lamps. The bathroom very uncomfortable. For showering you practically have to climb over the toilet to get into the bathtub. The window cannot be opened. The hairdryer, from the last century should also be updated. All in all, there is simply a lack of style and enthusiasm.

The hotel, in the Bauhaus structure, is functional, clean, basic, but comfortable and with all comforts. However, there is no air conditioning, as is the television (which is useless given the beauty of the place), but being able to walk through the gardens, have tea in the adjacent house, or simply rest on the chairs placed on the lawn in front of the main entrance, it's a fantastic experience. The bathrooms are large and there is a very clean bathtub in which to immerse yourself and look at a fairytale landscape, without being seen. Good and varied breakfast. The staff is kind and attentive, but above all always available to provide information and resolve any problems. The hotel restaurant is good with a fixed menu.
