Top location. Everything is charged separately: breakfast, parking, etc.; parking is 8 minutes away from the hotel, and an empty minibar makes little sense. All in all, too expensive.

Very nice staff.The gentleman and lady at the reception very nice but unkempt.The car that was supposed to pick us up was broken.Had a long way to the hotel with luggage.The room with great views,ok.Fridge empty but 10 glasses.In the bathroom a lot broken and old.Dangerous for in the bathtub.In the evening I asked the waiter if I can buy a mineral bottle to pick up.He asked me 9.50 like in the restaurant.Absolute cheek.The breakfast room looked unpealing.Unironed old tablecloths.The buffet looked like there were already 10 people on it.The coffee had to be picked up by yourself in the corridor.Every morning the coffee grounds container was full.The plants were neglected.Droughty stuff in between.And in the back of the restaurant.A garbage collection on shelves.You could see in the kitchen.The cook never blew his nose and went straight on without washing his hands.To me,that didn't deserve 3 stars.Come from the gastronomy,hotel.Too bad very loveless.

We booked for 1 night at short notice. The room was spacious and had a small balcony, from the balcony we could look through the alley to the lake. The hotel is located directly on the promenade in Ascona and is therefore without parking. But there is parking within walking distance, with the motorcycles was still something free.
