The simple hotel is idyllically located near the lake in Capolago at the end of Lake Lugano and in the immediate vicinity of the valley station of the Monte Generoso cogwheel railway. The simply furnished rooms are clean and fully meet the expectations placed on a 2-star establishment. The hotel has a well-known restaurant with a large terrace and good, local food. Breakfast is also taken in the restaurant. This is of extraordinary quality and exceeded our expectations. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. We would love to come back.

What an adorable little hotel in this very cute little Swiss village of Capolago. The rooms are small but the service and hospitality of the servers, cleaning crew, the concierge and everybody that worked there. My basketball team participated in the FIMBA international tournament. The location is ideal and lake Lugano idyllic. The hotel is so close to the train station and the lake for swimming. Perfect location for my team. We had a great time.

I was with my wife last week to eat a pizza and I found the pizza maker who worked at Fontanelle, pizza excellent as always. Good service and always friendly staff. The area and the view are always beautiful with the lake nearby.
