The newly renovated rooms are very well done, the view of the lake, everything is perfect all around. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired, and what makes this hotel truly special is all the staff, who are really very friendly, making for a great stay. I would come back anytime!

My wife and I stayed in room 502 for 11 nights in June, and would highly recommend this fabulous lakefront hotel, which is close to the promenade, ferry port, town centre and the railway station. It’s a perfect location. All the staff were professional, courteous, friendly and efficient, from reception on arrival and departure, to the restaurant team. Housekeeping was excellent. Our room was always spotless, with beds (and dressing gowns) changed every two days or so. And on arrival we had towel swans and petals on the bed to mark our wedding anniversary. A lovely touch. Room 502 is recently renovated and on the top floor, with a great balcony view of the town and the Lake. It had all the facilities we needed, although the rainforest shower lacked a little pressure. The bed was comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay. We were half board, and really enjoyed the breakfast buffet while seated on the outside terrace. Great selection of choices, great quality and continually refreshed and restocked. Dinner was always fabulous, and we cammend the chef for the varied, delicious and beautifully presented food we enjoyed. Incredible. Unusually the set menu is something of a guide, with the capacity to select alternatives if the course/menu offer was not to our taste. Waiting staff at breakfast and dinner were fabulous. We did not use the spa, but it looked lovely and the outside terrace area would be ideal for sun-worshippers. Our experience was first class in every respect.

We spent three wonderful days in this hotel. Everything was perfect. Starting with the very attentive staff, who informed us in detail about excursion options and discounts. We were even pointed out that we had not yet exhausted all the inclusive services of our voucher. It is also worth mentioning that the mini-bar is included. The hotel also seems to place great value on sustainability. One can cancel room service for the next day and even receive a complimentary drink for doing so. We can also highly recommend the massage in the spa area. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, and the location on the terrace with a lake view was very inviting. Should we spend a few days in Locarno again, it will certainly be at this hotel. Especially since the train station is in close proximity. Many thanks to the entire team; you all do a great job.
