Calipso Park

Very clean room, king size bed ! They change the towels every day. The bathroom was perfect . Everything was new. Quiet neighborhood. The only problem but not a big deal was the distance from the city center. We had our car so it wasnt problem.

The hotel's advertising is a little misleading, but we were on a budget and just about put up with it for the two nights we were there. Once you get around the building site and navigate your way to the reception, you'll find a very dated hotel. Our room was at least clean, but was in desperate need of a refurbishment. One of the sheets had small holes in it, and a double bed consisted of two singles pushed together. The worst point was the lack of ventilation and the heat of the room. The bathroom turned into a steam room when the shower was used, and bedroom really needed A/C. It was cooler on the balcony than in the room, even though it was 30'C+ outside...not great for sleeping. The staff were smiley and nice, but nothing more to add. If you can find a different place in the same price bracket, book it! If not, make plans to be out as much as possible during the day...

It's a basic hotel in the center of Paradiso. Pros; Near the shops, restaurants and the lake Cheap Rate Bathroom is OK Cons; No hotel parking (Under construction) Rooms (or what we took) didn't have aircontioning Noises from the construction site can be heard from inside the room (morning) Elevators are terrible It's just basically a room with a bed and bathroom.
