Request a high floor in the back and, while you won’t have a balcony, it will be quiet. The rooms are clean and simple. No refrigerator or iron. Provided some toiletries in packets, so I opted to used instead the shampoo and bar soap I brought with me. Optional, paid breakfast was fine. Just a few steps to the train station.

Great location only 450m from the station, good reception and information regarding bus times/ funicular and places to eat. Clean room and good free wifi, towels included but only two sachets of soap.- Asked for more and got a further two!!! Very nice balcony to watch life go by and have a glass of wine. Nice shower & bath. Rather noisy at night due to the main road outside- Perhaps ask for a room at the back or bring ear plugs. Breakfast was a good continental style with really odd coloured eggs- a great touch.

The hotel is 5 minutes from Lugano train station, bus stop right at the hotel entrance. The city centre is easily reached by bus or by funicular at the train station. Clean room clean, very basic, functionally furnished without fridge and A/C. Friendly staff.
