Hotel Vezia

Comfortable hotel, located a few kilometers from the center of Lugano, with the advantage of free parking. The property resembles that of a motel, but it has been renovated and modernized, resulting in something simple but pleasant. The room was rather small, as was the double bed, but very clean and quiet. Overall, a good solution for those looking for a practical and convenient hotel to reach Lugano, especially if traveling by car.

Everything that one need for a night stay. The staff was really friendly, there's a lot of facilities very useful. The Hotel in general is cool and practical. I mean, the location is great! We had a room in the ground floor (what we book) but the big problem was the humidity, it was suffocating. And we couldn't open the window during the night because there was too much noise from an engine ( probably a air conditioner or something). There was a little ventilator in the room but it was half open, so a bit dangerous... We felt like we paid a little bit too much for what it was comfort-wise. Maybe it's better to book a room in another floor!

Simply stunning hotel! Contrary to what some have written, it is not an outdated establishment at all. In the 1950s, it was a motel, but today it is a hotel that deliberately recalls the style of that era, perfectly recreating the atmosphere of an authentic American diner, attended to in every detail. It is often a meeting point for enthusiasts of the genre, so it is not uncommon to find beautiful vintage cars that contribute to making the experience even more evocative. The establishment also has a pool, with lounge chairs and tables ideal for relaxing and enjoying the stay. Abundant and very varied breakfast. A special thanks to Luca and Alice, always kind, professional, and attentive to pampering the guests, keeping the buffet constantly tidy and stocked. We will definitely return!
