We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Pollux! It is an excellently run hotel with a staff that has a can-do customer centric approach. Breakfast was excellent and it was very nice that they warmed our milk for the coffee. Our balcony room had a view of the Matterhorn. An added bonus was the tin of cookies they gave us as we departed.

We only stayed at the Pollux for one night to connect with the Glacier Express. But the experience was so great, I needed to write this review. The hotel is located on the main street and near the train station. At every level, the experience exceeded our expectations...especially the incredible staff. We had an issue with leaving behind valuable personal items. They found them and went out of their way to get them to us at our next destination. When Fedex messed up the delivery, they worked out a refund and got it to us. Honestly, this is superb service and we would stay no where else in Zermatt!

The welcome was very warm, the room quite nice and cozy, and in the evening I was able to enjoy a fondue in your restaurant. The herb fondue with jacket potatoes was very delicious, and the service staff very attentive. I also slept wonderfully, even with the window open! Many thanks for the lovely stay, I felt very comfortable with you
