Welcome B&B & Apartments

Welcome B&B was a delightful experience. We stayed for 3 nights last fall (this review is long overdue) and loved every minute of it. It was about maybe a 15 minute walk from the train station, but it is a pleasant walk. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the bathroom was quite large with a nice tub and shower. Some of the furniture could perhaps use a little bit of updating, but overall the rooms are nice. Breakfast was good and the view of the Matterhorn from the breakfast room made it even better. The real reason to stay here, however, are the hosts. From offering tips on which trails to take for the best hiking experiences, including trails they themselves had hiked the previous day, to allowing us to leave our luggage there and even utilize the shower in the spa the day we checked out, the couple running this hotel made us feel incredibly welcome. They were willing and eager to insure their guests had a great time in Zermatt. We cannot wait to get back here!

We stayed for a week in January while skiing and loved it. The owners are great people and very informative, the breakfast food and area is fantastic, and the rooms are spacious and clean. There are great facilities for skiers and the hotel is located close to the riverside ski bus stop. Highly recommend and we'll be returning next trip!

We made a last minute decision to visit Zermatt and were very lucky to find this hotel. We stayed in the large family room with a balcony and views of the Matterhorn. The room was quite large by Swiss standards and had plenty of storage for all our clothing and ski gear. We loved the large modern and clean bathroom as well. If your room doesn't have a view don't worry, the breakfast room on the 4th floor has even better views, and of course, great Swiss breakfasts. In the basement is a ski storage room and boot drying system. The hotel is perfectly located away from the noisy main street but close enough to walk to everything or hop on the free bus system.
