Excellent! An old, traditional hotel. Great staff, great location

What a beautiful hotel! Very elegant and historic and with particularly friendly staff. A big thanks to Mrs Chanpanya and Mr Droemer for taking so well care! (Several other people at the reception and breakfast are also very guest oriented but they wear no name tags so unfortunately I don't know their names.) I have loved to start into the day with a colourful breakfast in the hotel's garden pavilion and the snacks in the lobby bar for dinner have been wonderful.

Wonderful time out at the Baur au Lac What made this stay so special for us was not only the exceptional quality of the hotel, but above all the atmosphere and the people who shape it. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed so warmly and personally that we truly felt like guests from the very first moment and not just a "check-in." Attentive, engaged, and warm – yet completely natural and without any affected professionalism. Our room was of a timeless elegance; stylish, tasteful, and at the same time so comfortable that we felt right at home. A very special experience was breakfast in the garden. Starting the day in this beautiful green oasis, accompanied by excellent and attentive service – for us, a little piece of luxury that we enjoyed very much. We are taking many beautiful impressions with us and, above all, the feeling of having been a guest in a very special establishment. We will be back. Highly recommended!
