The hotel overall is quite good, it is clean and the service is not bad either, although the internet connection is really weak. The only problem we experienced as females was the fact that some of the waiting staff stared at the female diners constantly making them extremely uncomfortable. These men working in the dinning area should be doing their job rather than making female guests uncomfortable while eating. All they did was stand by the door or the serving table and stare at women without blinking an eye. The management really needs to look into this matter and take notice of their male waiting staff.

when i arrive the hotel i did find my rooms are ready and thy hotel staff was also more than helpfull to do the requested changes in one of the room . the hotel manger incharge was hlepful to reaccoumedate on of the rooms with the handycap facility as requested .

We returned last night from Damascus and stayed at the Safir for 3 nights. We were with 5 children and had taken two rooms. Front Office service was amazing and the F&B are very friendly. The Hotel is less than 50 meters from Bibi Zainab's shrine. Strongly recommend this hotel and we will definitely go back and stay there if and ever we visit Damascus.
