Hooyai Hotel

We checked in on Saturday night 13/4/19 to see such a big and huge hotel , thought this will be our good stay . Who knows , when we walked into our rooms , seems really big , with a living room , with 2 big chairs , old TV, and have a bedroom suite with 2 big Queen size beds . Carpet on the floor seems to have moldy smell, like nobody being staying for quiet sometime .. Lights are dim .. Not bright enough .. Furnitures are Old And outdated . We didn’t even utilized it at all . On the next day , we check out at 830am and wanna go to cafeteria to have our breakfast . Nobody at the front desk to greet us , seems like nobody business and no one attending . So we just push our 2 luggage’s into cafeteria , to meet up with our other 2 friends and car driver . No one else having breakfasts except us ! Just a few seconds , a guy walked over to us and said pls proceed to front desk and put your luggage’s inside the small guest room beside the counter . My friend was asking him whether to get a bottle of mineral water ? The guy said pls Walk to the dark area on your right and get it yourself .. my friend was so pissed off with their attitude ; and she asked again , pls get me 2 new bottles of mineral water !! And not asking us to walk there n refill into whatever bottles we have ! After this , we proceed to cafeteria for our breakfasts . This time , we were mad again as the same guy came and check on the breakfast ; food are not replenish , no refills , food are not hot enough , don’t have enough coffee for me to refill, as there’s only half pot left ; only able to pour 1.5 cups only 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ 9am and there’s nothing much left to eat .. We do not recommend this lousy hotel .. Please don’t waste your money .. not a good experience at all ..

The facility is just fine on the average standard of 3 stars hotel but the front desk agents and banquet servants are the most terrible critical parts I have ever experienced... No matter where the guests comes from China Taiwan Korea or America, service should be equally the same... The morning shifts staff look sleepy and provide the careless service and rude is the best word I can find in the world for the servant at the breakfast event. As my 5-year experience in hospitality industry, the service and attitude are under score

With my family I stayed in this hotel . The interior design of this hotel is very awesome. Then also the food of hotel is very good and staff service is fantastic. There are also room service available.
