Good location, staff is very friendly.

Small hotel on the edge of the small town. Only rooms in this block, breakfast in extra building about 100m away. View of lake if you have the right side. Rich breakfast next to the indoor pool (well). Very helpful staff.

The far side of the lake is just so much calmer and more pleasant than the near side of the lake. There are fewer major hotel options though, and the Lealea options have many pluses (and a few minuses). The hotels have their common amenities in the Rainforest which is a slightly older hotel. The pool is not heated, so manage your expectations. Otherwise, the biggest advantage of shared resources is a better breakfast buffet. The sauna and play space were also much used.
