Here’s another 5-sentence review based on your points: The room felt very average overall, though the bed was comfortable and the lake view was a nice highlight. However, the room layout was poorly designed, with the bathtub placed openly next to the main door and surrounded by mirrors, making it impossible to use while accessing the entrance. There was noticeable wear and tear on the tiles and the false ceiling, which affected the overall impression. Breakfast offered limited options, although it did include both Western and traditional dishes. The location was convenient, right next to Ita Thao village, but the service was only moderate and the night staff struggled to communicate in English. Had good parking facility around 50 m from the hotel.

For us, the hotel that disappointed us the most was the one. It is centrally located, but almost everything in town is closed at 8 p.m. The staff was nice, but not as friendly as in other hotels in Taiwan. The rooms were small, nicely decorated, but somehow musty. The bathroom was large and well furnished. It had a whirlpool tub and there were free bath salts at reception. The breakfast was good and the room was nicely decorated, although it was very cold. You can sit on the roof terrace and have a nice view, but everything was closed. All in all it was OK, but I don't think I would book it again.

This is a very small hotel. We paid for a lake view room and the view was great. Room felt a little dated, but clean. The breakfast has limited choices for western food, but the lake view is great from the breakfast area, which creates a relaxing experience. It is located on the opposite side of the lake to the main transportation in and out of sun moon lake. In my opinion, the best services and bike rental companies are on the opposite side of the lake. The bus and ferry that service around the lake stops at 5pm, so you need have your own transportation or use a taxi. There looked like there was a lot of watercraft rental at this side of the lake and there is a small night market (go early as it mostly shuts down by 8pm). Overall, I felt the hotel was ok, wrong location for me and a little overpriced.
