I stayed in a windowless single room. I am used to stay in this chain "friends hotel" and this one Yu Yu is fine. The best thing is the price, and location not bad. Neighbourhood is ok with quite many Japanese tourists. Some good restaurants nearby. Metro station within 5 mins walk. Overall, worth trying.

Booked this hotel mainly due to low room rate and breakfast provided. The hotel's located in Zhongshan district of Taipei, where is closed to MRT Zhongshan Station and very closed to MRT Taipei Main Station. Very convenient to travel to Ximen, Taipei 101..etc. A large Shin Kong Mitsukoshi department store is closed to this hotel. Room is OK but the hygiene level needs some improvement. The hotel's shuttle service is good for family travelers as they will transport you to the venues (inside Taipei City) or to the transportation stations. Save time & little bit traveling cost.

Stayed in the Hotel for 4 nights in Room 302 during a business trip. Although the room was towards roadside, there was not much traffic noise. Toilet and bath was sparkling clean. Hot water was available in bathroom, both morning and evening with good pressure. Beds were really good, had a nice sleep with no back & neck pains in morning. Breakfast was on top floor (10th Floor) and I found it reasonably good. They have laundry and Gym, which I didn't try due to lack of time. Hotel arranged Taxi for me whenever I required it, on time.
