You can tell that the owner runs the hotel without paying too much attention of details. Generally it's too expensive spending nt2700 one night for this kind of level. Room is clean except the balcony. There is a spacious backyard for kids or to have fireworks. Location is not far away from Hengchun downtown but this is a good place for ppl who wants to enjoy quietness. You still need a scooter or a car to get to the downtown though. Inner decoration of room and breakfast are just standard level. Noisy if the room next speaks too loud. You can easily hear them. Water temp when taking a shower is sometimes too hot or completely too cold.

We found the young people running the hostel very welcoming and extremely helpful. They offered an excellent and very friendly service, nothing too much trouble. The hostel is very well decorated, clean and spacious with good facilities. Visiting my daughter who lives in Tai Chung a few days at the beach for the three of us was a great opportunity to extend out experience of Taiwan. We strongly recommend the hostel and offer our thanks to the staff for their assistance during out stay there.

Stayed here 3 nights. The hostel feels more like b&b than a hostel . Rooms are basic and clean. Location is in the middle of neighborhood and feels a bit out of place. You must have a car if you stay here.The facilities are good with use if common areas and kitchen included. Free wifi but it could be improved to work in guest rooms. Staff are very friendly and offer any assistance needed. The only downside I would mention is that noIse can be bit of a problem. Other guests if they are noisy can easily be heard. Expect a few roosters and digs barking in the morning Very satisfied I stayed here.
