Yu Sen House

Nice cosy place walking distance from the Night Market. The host is very nice and kind as well. Unfortunately this place does not have lift and we were allocated rooms on level 5. With a travel plan round Taiwan, we have large and heavy luggage hence it was a struggle for us to bring our luggage to level 5. Not ideal for those like us that have long travel itineraries.

Stayed here last week, late July 2013. Was quite a reasonable stay, with all the essentials included. The room we had was 302, had a nice mountain view. The room had a reasonably comfortable bed, alittle on the hard side so for some travelers might be hard getting used to. Location of this place was great! centrally located in the heart of Kenting! a 30sec walk to the Kenting main street and easy scooter ride to anywhere in the area. 7-11 is also around the corner for all other needs. Breakfast was served by a breakfast place around the corner either through voucher or you need to select the options and collect it from the lobby area in the morning. Was quite basic breakfast although the coffee definitely needs improving. Place was quiet although we can often hear the music blasting from the clubs next door through our bathroom. Wasn't much of an issue once the bathroom door is closed. We had water dripping from the air con over night at the corner where you can see they put tape over it. Definitely needs fixing but it's no real issue for us. We were glad to have air cond in the hot summer of Kending. It's no large resort but if it's location and value for money then you can't beat this sort of stay.

Stayed at Genkii Daddy for 3D2N during my recent trip to Kenting. Being unsure of what we could do in Kenting, we asked the owners for recommendations. Their recommendations - watersports on day 1 and renting a scooter to explore Kenting on day 2, were both excellent. They were also very helpful in giving us directions to our next location. The location of this homestay is simply fantastic. It's situated on a small lane adjacent to the Kenting main street where the daily night market is at. Since it's on the adjacent street, we were just a 1 minute walk away from the night market, but at the same time, did not have to put up with the noise from the market.
