The Richforest Hotel - Kenting

Unfortunately, this accommodation was a pure disappointment, apart from the direct location on the night market, in the middle of the action but quiet for the night's sleep. After checking in, anything but a welcome, I received a room which was not clean, the mini bathroom damp and moldy. After the complaint, the staff member Vicky (the only plus point of the hotel) who knows the English language was called in. She immediately offered help, also absolutely understood my complaints. After a few room visits I got a room with a small balcony, which was also quickly cleaned and repaired the balcony door. Unfortunately, the breakfast was absolutely bad. The tables and plastic chairs not clean, the coffee machine quite disgusting, the food selection very economical and visually a no go. The dishes used were placed in a bowl at the buffet until overflowing. Here you can only recommend to have breakfast outside the house.

A decent hotel, centrally-located in Kenting, immediate proximity to local night market and restaurants, a short drive to beaches, Kenting National Park Recreation Area, and the southern-most tip of Taiwan. Hotel room was fine (room safe available) and restaurant on first floor provides a basic breakfast to start your day.

We stayed here for 2 nights on our 'Round Taiwan' trip. The hotel is right in the middle of the night market, just walk outside the front door! But you had hardly any noise in your hotel room. The room was a little small and a little dated, but again not much time spent in your room. Lots of great restaurants and street snacks nearby. Breakfast was okay, not a huge amount of options. To dfind a beach you could swim was about 20 minute walk down to Little Bay. Beach closeby lovely but advised no swimming. Overall an excellent stay
