Hotel located across from the city station; in less than five minutes, you are at the hotel. The location is very good because you can visit certain places on foot from the hotel. The bus to Sun Moon Lake is less than five minutes from the hotel. For everything else, we moved by bus. The hotel is a bit old, but it is decent. The room was a bit small, as is usually the case in Taiwan, and the furniture is old, but the most important thing is that everything was very clean. The Wi-Fi connection was free but very slow and sometimes stopped working. The worst part was that the mattress was tilted, and we could not sleep very well, but this will be something specific to this room. I believe it was the worst hotel I stayed at in Taiwan, but it is also true that it was one of the most economical hotels I found in the city, so if you are looking for something decent and at a good price, this is your hotel.

LOCATION IS GOOD: Few minutes walk from the Taichung Train Station. Room is Basic and bare but comfy Good for a night stay No free flowing water in the lobby or in the hallway No breakfast offers quite expensive when i booked as it falls on a weekend it cost about 4200 PHP.

It was an ok stay. Most of the staff is very unfriendly though. One time I asked a group of male staff for chopsticks and they said they don’t have any, but they just gave me some that morning. Then they told me to go outside and get some from 7 eleven.
