This hotel was very clean. It also had a great location - close to the train station and Taichung Park. There were plenty of restaurants and businesses close by. The wi-fi in the room was fast. The room also had a couch, which was nice. The bathroom actually had a shower stall, which seems to be more uncommon in Asia, but it was nice because the whole bathroom floor did not get wet when you took a shower. Hotel staff was friendly. The only negatives were that walls did seem to be a little thin so you could hear people in the room next to you, and there was no breakfast. Despite, that, it was a great place to stay.

The hotel has most of the basics but not much plusses. It is less than 5 minutes from the (old) Taichung Railway Station which is the main plus for this hotel. The Railway station area is the main (only?) hub for buses and trains (except the HSR). This was our reason to choose this hotel. The room was not decent size (Deluxe Double). The hotel clearly has been around for an extensive time and is starting to show its age. There is not breakfast provided and in our case the room was not tended to one out of 3 nights (although we were at least 13 hours away). Overall we would recommend to try to find a more modern / newer hotel that is in walking distance from the Railway Station

Female staff was very friendly, she worked in the rmonign afternoon shift. At night when we checked in , we were attended by the male staff, very friendly too. Let us use their phone to call my another hotel to check with them about my bookings. The previous night when stayed at KDM hotel, they told us to pay 88 twd for 3 minutes call. Pros: Good Location (5 min walk from taichung raiway station), Friendly Staff, Clean Room, wifi super good, water pressure good and get hot easily Cons: Room small 13m2, can hear next door shower and bath and talk
