It's one of the hotel chains that also has branches in Taipei and Tainan, but compared to Fuhua and Fullon it's a bit downgraded. Still, the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The bathtub and shower booth in the bathroom were too far apart, making it hard to use. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, but acceptable. The location is about a 10-minute walk from Taichung Station, but the surrounding area has become quite deserted and the downtown area has moved farther away, making you feel the passage of time. On the other hand, the area towards the old Houyi station seems to be more lively, with an outlet mall.

The hotel's staff members were all super friendly. When we arrived on the first day, we had question about a place we wanted to go. The lady at the front desk searched it up online, printed out the bus route and schedule, and explained to us how to get around. Extremely helpful, thank you. The hotel is well maintained, but relatively older in style. The location is somewhat in middle of nowhere, so a lot of walking was needed. There are few food stores around, but nothing too big.

台中富信大饭店邻旧市区台中州厅古迹，近火车交通中枢，往台中各处及周边都市交通很方便。早餐buffet区提供中西台式料理，清粥小菜丶生菜水果沙拉吧，饮料区提供豆浆咖啡茶饮果汁等，热食区丶烤面包，也提供蒸包馒头。可惜没有提供牛奶。但大致上满足。 FUSHIN HOTEL TAICHUNG locates near old down town area, which is adjacent to old city hall, and is easily approachable to city station, thus facilitates your trip to anywhere in town or around towns. Break Buffet is recommended for various choices: salad, taiwanese style congee cuisine, hot meals, bread and toast, coffee, tea, soft drinks and bean milk etc. It is pardon that milk is not served, but in overall can satisfy your good day appetites.
