Grano House

we booked 2 x quad room for 6 adults and 2 child and have a wonderful stay during our 1st night arrived Taiwan. driver drop us at the main road and we need to carry our luggage and walk to the homestay, the way is not far and not difficult to find the way. the room is small but have enough space for us to open all our luggage. really 3 minutes walk to Fengjia, very convenience. Recommend for people with budget travelling yet looking for good location.

I normally don't write reviews until I get back home but since it is 1:50 am and I can't sleep at all, I might as well do it now. Checked in at around 8 pm, a double room and a quad room. the double room has ice cold AC, my quad room on the other hand ,the AC was showing the room temperature at 28C, left the AC on for dinner until now at 1:52 am, the AC still shows 27C, I am curious if the outside temperature is even lower than the room. Also , wasted a good 5 mins flow of cold water in the shower before any hot water kicked in.

1 night stay with family to transit to Sun Moon Lake the next day. Taxi from Taoyuan HSR to here 320 TWD. Arrived at 9.30pm and it was hard to find. The hotel does not have a signage with the name so look for the unit number instead. Taxi dropped us off at 85 cafe and we walked in from there. Watch out for scooters. I've posted photos of location. No check in counter. Host was waiting for us by a small table when we arrived. Hot water dispenser, extra toiletries available on 1st floor. Elevator was small but did its job. Zero soundproofing. Toiletries provided. Bathroom had a misty smell. No shower curtain. Floor was very slippery when wet. Hot water was inconsistent. We were travelling with two kids and booked a room for four. We were offered two rooms that could accommodate two persons each. They were side by side, but created unexpected inconvenience, as much as they were minimal. Had to shower the kids in 1 bathroom and kept the other bathroom dry in case the kids slipped while going to the bathroom in the middle of the night. 5 mins walk to Fengjia Night Market. Nothing memorable here. Just a place that you sleep and move on. For the price of US 65 and the location, it did its job.
