Hotel Day Taichung

The hotel is close to Guangsan SOGO and there are many places to visit, so the transportation is naturally convenient! The design of the hotel is very inspiring and the main body is ingenious. The name of the hotel: Bird Day~ is very unique. The hotel has an elegant environment. The rooms are not big but have everything you need. The design space of the washing area is a bit cramped. The air conditioning and hot water are mostly very good. Only the sound insulation of the walls needs to be strengthened. Due to the current promotion of environmental protection, disposable room supplies (toothbrush/shower cap/shaving razor) are no longer provided, so please bring your own. Breakfast is served in the basement. The overall dishes are quite satisfactory and you can eat and drink enough. Just a few suggestions: when there are guests dining, you should turn on the music, otherwise the whole basement will be filled with a quiet and solemn atmosphere. Later, turning on the music behind the waiter can relieve the awkward atmosphere. There are also doors leading to the infield operations. Please close them and do not open them. This will not look good if guests can look directly at the infield equipment and operations. Plastic drink cups may need to be replaced appropriately. The surface of the cup has been brushed, leaving obvious scratches (poor transparency) and poor hygiene. This a so called design hotel with fancy decoration, lobby is lovely and the check in service is ok. When I stepped in the lift, I can smell a strong odor of ditch which is very disgusting. Room is very simple with wired design, bathroom is not clean with hair on the floor. A bathtub in the middle of the room, I am sorry this kind of design is only fit for a 5 star luxury hotel. Breakfast is a nightmare, this is probably the worst breakfast buffet that I have ever seen. Never again.

Room was adequately sized but lacked a closet or dresser; just room for 4 hangers. Had a mini refrigerator. WiFi is unsecured, no password needed. Breakfast buffet was average. SoGo department store with many restaurants about a 10 minute walk away.
