Hope City Fushing Hotel

We checked in and felt ok with hotel staffs but when we got into the room then we found room has not good smell and dust seem still are somewhere on table or arround the bed. If hotel improve their cleaning then they can get much better recommend from visitors.

Let's get things straight first. This is by no means a modern hotel, not by any stretch of the imagination. The comments of another reviewer of it being akin to a 70's love hotel are fair. The rooms, albeit large for Taipei standards at this price range, are tired and have a musty smell. The bathroom is huge but old as well. Breakfast was unimpressive. Never again.

Don't be deceived by the website photo, not reality and only to be shocked when see in real. Don't be carried away by the location, more than several other good options available nearby. Definitely over-priced by international booking sites such as Expedia, much much lower price is offered through the hotel's own website. When the staff was asked why such a big difference, the reply was "that is why more comparison should be made before booking, the hotel has nothing to do with prices offerred by international sites". Surly my fault for not thinking more than twice before booking. @_@
